We are now anxiously awaiting the release of Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker in just 15 days! Last week director J.J. Abrams confirmed that the film was indeed finished, and today we got our first very first review from someone who has actually seen it.

Richard E. Grant, who will soon be best known as Allegiant General Pryde in The Rise Of Skywalker, posted a video to Instagram earlier today to confirm that he had indeed seen the film. His review of Episode IX is sure to get you even more excited as Grant's usual enthusiastic demeanor is dialed to eleven. You can read what Richard E. Grant said below, as well as hear him say it in the video below:

"I've just seen Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker and... Nothing prepares you for this. I cheered, I shouted, I fist pumped the air, I cried, I stood and cheered. It's absolutely everything you hoped it was going to be. I'm so proud to be in it. And I can't wait for you to see it."

If I wasn't already sold on this movie(and didn't already have my tickets), I think it's safe to say Richard E. Grant's review would definitely push me over the edge!

Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker hits theaters on December 20th, 2019.  The film is directed by JJ Abrams, with a script by Abrams and Chris Terio, and stars Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Kelly Marie Tran, Mark Hamill, Billy Dee Williams, Keri Russell, Richard E. Grant, Naomi Ackie, Lupita Nyong'o, Domhnall Gleeson, Joonas Suotamo, and Carrie Fisher.
