Bill Burr Talks Briefly About Being In 'The Mandalorian'

By: Dominic Jones

One of the many new characters that we'll be meeting in The Mandalorian, the upcoming Disney+ series, is one played by comedian and Breaking Bad actor Bill Burr.  Burr's character could be seen briefly in the footage from the series that was revealed at Star Wars Celebration in April, and then the back of his head can be seen in the official trailer.  Burr recently appeared on the The Rich Eisen Show where he spoke about how he got the role, acknowledged it was weird that he was in it since he always makes jokes about Star Wars, and what it was like on set.

You can watch Burr discuss The Mandalorian below,

He went into further detail about the experience on The H3 Podcast, where he revealed that he worked on the episode directed by Rick Famuyiwa, which you can check out below,

The Mandalorian is set following the events of Return of the Jedi and follows the adventures of a "lone gunfighter", as he navigates the galaxy in the post-Empire/early days of the New Republic.  The series debuts on Disney+ on November 12th.  If you haven't seen the new trailer, you can check it out below,

The series debuts on November 12th on Disney+, and stars Pedro Pascal as The Mandalorian, Gina Carrano as Cara Dune, Carl Weathers as Greef Carga, and Giancarlo Esposito as Moff Gideon, as well as Nick Nolte, Werner Herzog, Emily Swallow, and Omid Abtahi in unknown roles.  The Mandalorian is executive produced by Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni, with episodes directed by Filoni, Bryce Dallas Howard, Deborah Chow, and Rick Famuyiwa, and Taika Waititi.
