Domhnall Gleeson Says 'The Rise Of Skywalker' Script Was "A Page Turner"

While Yoda may have described the sacred Jedi texts in The Last Jedi by saying, "page turners, they were not", General Hux actor, Domhnall Gleeson had the opposite to say about the script for Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker.  Gleeson was interviewed by Collider recently to talk about his new film, The Kitchen, and (of course) was asked about Star Wars, specifically what it was like reading JJ Abrams and Chris Terio's script for the first time.

Gleeson replied, "It was cool.  It was a page turner.  And, it was different from what I thought, and it was great.  It was exciting.  And also, you feel part of this tiny club that get to read these things ahead of other people, and that feels great and I really did enjoy that.  I think it's going to be cool."

You can watch the full interview with Gleeson below (the Star Wars talk begins around 2:07),

Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker hits theaters on December 20th, 2019.  The film is directed by JJ Abrams, with a script by Abrams and Chris Terio, and stars Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Kelly Marie Tran, Mark Hamill, Billy Dee Williams, Keri Russell, Richard E. Grant, Naomi Ackie, Lupita Nyong'o, Domhnall Gleeson, Joonas Suotamo, and Carrie Fisher.
