Synopsis Revealed For The Final Episodes Of 'Star Wars Resistance' Season 1

By: Benjamin Hart

Star Wars Resistance has begun to heat up as its first season draws to a close! As we saw in that amazing mid-season trailer the series' timeline will soon intersect with that of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, undoubtedly having lasting consequences for Kazuda Xiono and his friends.

A brand new episode, titled The Disappeared, is slated to air this Sunday(February 24th) at 10:00pm ET/PT on Disney Channel. After that we will only have three more episodes to look forward to this season. Thanks to Sleemo we have just received our first look at plot synopsis for those final three episodes, which will air in March. You can read the synopsis below, but beware of minor SPOILERS:

  • “Descent” (Airing Sunday, March 3)
With secrets exposed, Yeager’s crew must evade relentless troopers hunting them down and find a way to reach the Resistance.

  •  “No Escape, Part 1” (Airing Sunday, March 10)
Kaz, Neeku, Torra devise a plan to free their friends, but it’s upended when Kaz bears witness to the full might of the First Order.

  • “No Escape, Part 2” (Airing Sunday, March 17)
With Neeku’s help, Kaz comes up with a risky plan to rid the Colossus of the First Order once and for all.

I think it's safe to say we all have a very bad feeling about where this is going. For a "kids show" Star Wars Resistance is about to deal with some very heavy subject matter, the biggest of which will be the destruction Hosnian Prime, which just so happens to be the homewold of Kaz. It will be fascinating to watch and see how the events of the Sequel Trilogy will affect the story and characters of this series!

After watching each episode of Star Wars Resistance, don't forget to listen to The Kazuda Kast, our weekly podcast discussing the series!
