Adam Driver to Host 'Saturday Night Live' Season Premiere

By: Dominic Jones

Matt the Radar Tech lives! (Maybe.) NBC announced this week that Star Wars star Adam Driver (Kylo Ren/Ben Solo) will host the first episode of the upcoming 44th season of Saturday Night Live.  Driver previously guest hosted an episode in 2016, right after the release of The Force Awakens in theaters, where he participated in the wildly popular "Undercover Boss: Starkiller Base" sketch, in which he reprised his role of Kylo Ren and introduced the world to "Matt the Radar Tech".  If you haven't seen it before, you can check it out below,

The season premiere of SNL, hosted by Driver with musical guest Kanye West, will air on September 29th, 2018.  Hopefully, we'll see Driver take part in another Star Wars sketch, possibly even a sequel to "Undercover Boss: Starkiller Base"
Following Driver's last hosting stint, his Star Wars sketch went viral and "Matt The Radar Tech" has become a popular costume for fans at conventions.  For example, check out this video from Star Wars Celebration Orlando 2017,
