We're now just a few hours away from the official release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi on Digital HD, and just two weeks short of its full release on Blu-ray and 4K Ultra. To build hype for the home media releases, Lucasfilm has unveiled several new snippets from The Last Jedi's bonus features, which includes over two hours of deleted scenes, behind the scenes documentaries, and much more.
The newest clip to be released comes from the Showdown On Crait scene breakdown, which details the immense work that went into creating the massive sequence at the end of the film. The clip is titled "Creating Crystal Foxes" and focuses on the native Vulptex creatures. The video includes interviews with writer/director Rian Johnson along with various creators discussing their thought processes on developing the foxes. We also see in the video that the filmmakers at least attempted to use real-life Dogs to bring the Vulptexs to life. You can watch the clip below:
