Star Wars: The Last Jedi is out now on Digital HD, and will soon be released on Blu-ray and 4K Ultra for optimal viewing at home. To further promote the release of Episode VIII on home media, Lucasfilm has unleashed a several clips from the film's dense collection of bonus features.
Today, two new videos were shared on YouTube which give us more glimpses behind the scenes of The Last Jedi. The first video is focused on the sequences that take place on Crait, specifically exploring how the crew created the now-iconic salt flats and the red tinted explosions seen in the film:
The second video covers Luke Skywalker, and features writer/director Rian Johnson discussing why Luke decided to cut himself off from the Force during his self imposed exile on Ahch-To:
Star Wars: The Last Jedi is available for download now digitally in North America and will be available on Blu-ray and 4K Ultra on March 27th.
