We've recently been treated to a lot of great behind the scenes footage from Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Being the film has been nominated for four Academy Awards, including one for Best Visual Effects, Industrial Light and Magic has been releasing amazing VFX breakdown videos to draw attention the incredible work done on the film(and hopefully impressive the Oscar judges).
The newest video, released today, is focused on Andy Serkis and his performance as Supreme Leader Snoke in The Last Jedi. The footage reveals never-before-seen peeks at Serkis on set performing his scenes in full motion capture gear alongside co-stars Adam Driver(Kylo Ren) and Daisy Ridley(Rey). The video details the layers of digital makeup that are applied to the actor in order to create the character we see on screen. It's truly fascinating! Be sure to watch the full video below:
