Luke Skywalker actor Mark Hamill is truly one of the best ambassadors to the fans that the Star Wars franchise could ever ask for and every so often he does something to remind us why. Yesterday, Hamill made a surprise appearance on the Star Tours ride at Disneyland in California, shocking the crowd of Star Wars fans who were about to ride the ride. Video of Hamill making his entrance was posted to the official Star Wars Instagram account and you can check that out below,
Hamill reposted the video on his personal account with the added description of, "It took me long enough- but my childhood dream of working at Disneyland finally came true!"
A couple of prominent YouTubers were on the ride when Hamill walked aboard and they shared their videos of the experience, which you can see below,
While Mark Hamill likely won't be on your ride the next time you're on Star Tours, there is a new adventure based on Star Wars: The Last Jedi set on the planet Crait that debuts this Friday.
