The Disney Parks Blog has released a new preview image for the new Crait adventure coming to Star Tours: The Adventures Continue that will tie into Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The image features the Starspeeder 1000 flying above the Resistance Ski Speeders on the planet Crait (the white and red planet in the The Last Jedi trailers). There are also a pair of First Order TIE Fighters chasing the Starspeeder. The new adventure is set to launch on Friday November 17th. Check it out below,
The Disney Parks Blog also teased that another new Star Tours destination will revealed later this week, stating,
"We’ve shared all we can for now about the thrilling adventures waiting
for you on Crait, but if you’re thinking that’s the only new Star Tours
destination coming this week, all I can say is, 'No. There is another.'"
What that location is is anybody's guess at this point, though it seems like a safe bet to assume it's from the sequel era given the report that Star Tours will only feature sequel era content during the build up to The Last Jedi. A new destination would enable the ride to maintain some of its "randomness" given that we only know of two sequel era adventures (Crait and Jakku, which first opened back in 2015 to tie in with The Force Awakens).
