One of the new characters we'll be meeting when Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters this December is Resistance maintenance worker Rose Tico, played by Kelly Marie Tran. People Magazine released an interview today with Tran that they conducted during the D23 Expo back in August where Tran discusses how being in Star Wars has changed her life. She describes the past two years as being a "weird Hannah Montana life" in that she can still go out and not be recognized and then go to events like D23 and Star Wars Celebration where thousands of people are cheering for her. You can check out the interview below,
Tran is still at the beginning of her Star Wars journey, we haven't even seen her character in a trailer yet. But, Rose is one of the new characters that has captured fans imaginations and Tran has endeared herself to fans at Celebration and D23 with her excitement about the role.
