Ron Howard has been incredibly generous and open with fans since taking over directing duties on the untitled Han Solo film. His Twitter and Instagram feeds have been chocked full of amazing behind the scenes looks at the film.
Today, the director shared two new photographs from the set on social media. Both give use glimpses at two new droid characters from the film. The first shows the arm of a droid resting on a control panel. Interestingly, the claw hand at the end of the arm bears resemblance to Captain Rex's from Star Tours:
Droids help make the Galaxy go round but I find they don't always listen to the director!#UntitledHanSoloMovie pic.twitter.com/XSgvK4y4Dd— Ron Howard (@RealRonHoward) August 2, 2017
Next, Howard posted a picture of himself alongside a yellow and white Astromech droid:
These droids can be so damn intractable. But we'll go until we get it right! #UntitledHanSoloMovie pic.twitter.com/tDR6EOW8pn— Ron Howard (@RealRonHoward) August 2, 2017
And arguably the most intriguing thing Ron Howard has tweeted as of late was a reply to a curious fan asking if the director will find a way to cast his brother, Clint Howard, in the Han Solo film. Clint has had a history of cameos in his brother's films, and Ron's response is an exciting one:
