The young Han Solo film looks to have found another cast member. Variety is reporting that The Wire star Michaek K. Williams is in final talks to join the cast of the 2018 film. Little is known about the role that Williams is up for, as much of the film has remained shrouded in mystery. Filming for the film is already underway, with principle photography having begun last week.
Williams joins an already impressive cast that includes Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo, Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, Emilia Clarke, Woody Harrelson, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Thandie Newton. The film is directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller and it is slated to hit theatres on May 25th, 2018.
As always, this is just a rumor until confirmed or denied by Lucasfilm or Disney.
