On This Day: March 6, 2009

By Ciaran Duggan,

The Star Wars: The Clone Wars episode 'Innocents of Ryloth' aired on Cartoon Network on this day in 2009.

The twentieth episode of the hit animated series is a highly popular amongst fans and it is remembered fondly because of a young Ryloth girl, named Numa.

'Innocents of Ryloth' was the second installment of a three-part Ryloth arc. The first and third episodes were very action heavy, whilst the second part was more moving and emotionally driven.

Two clone troopers, Waxer and Boil, made their first appearance on the show and would go on to to form an unlikely bond with the young Ryloth native.

The three-part Ryloth arc is considered to be one of the best season one offered, and this episode was helped to cement that view.
