Hasbro unveiled a new wave of 6" scale Black Series action figures in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the release of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope in 1977 (or, simply Star Wars as it was known back then).  In an announcement in Entertainment Weekly, Hasbro revealed they would be releasing special 40th anniversary versions of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia, Ben Kenobi, Darth Vader, and R2-D2 all in their iconic A New Hope costumes and with special packaging.  The figures will all be released with "Vintage" style packaging (the same design as the packaging from their original release).  Check out the figures for yourself below,

Entertainment Weekly also released several fan made dioramas using the figures to recreate classic scenes or imagine new ones.  See them for yourself over at EW.

Hasbro has been going all in on the 40th anniversary of A New Hope will all sorts of new toys, including board games, role play toys, titanium figures and more.
