The BAFTA Awards were last night and Star Wars was well represented on the red carpet. Among the Star Wars celebrities on hand was Rey actress Daisy Ridley. Ridley spoke with Express about the passing of Star Wars legend Carrie Fisher late last year. Fisher played the role of Leia Organa in Episodes IV-VII and will appear posthumously in this years Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
Ridley said about Fisher's passing, "Yeah, we’ve spent quite a lot of time together. It was horrific and devastating. It’s a great, great loss to the world."
She also shared that she hadn't seen any of her co-stars about Fisher's passing, saying, "I haven’t seen anyone since. There have been conversations and things like that, but we haven’t kind of like been together. So that will be interesting, and sad, but also wonderful celebrating her life."
In another interview on the BAFTA red carpet, Ridley discussed how her life had changed since being in Star Wars. You can see that interview here.
