'The Star Wars Show' Returns With New Segments & A New Host

By: Benjamin Hart

After an extended hiatus, Lucasfilm's weekly web series "The Star Wars Show" has finally returned. The newest episode includes several notable changes, including the addition of at least one new segment, as well as a brand new co-host.

It appears that Anthony Carboni, whom fans will know from the recent Rogue One premiere live stream and other events, will be taking over hosting duties from Peter Townley alongside Andi Gutierrez. Townley is still expected to return to the show in the future in some capacity.

In addition, we are also going to be treated to a new ongoing segment on the show titled "The Rogue Reports", which includes footage and interviews on the set of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The first one, included in this episode, features the Lucasfilm Story Group's Pablo Hidalgo talking with Star Wars Rebels executive producer Dave Filoni about the connections between the series and the film while on the Yavin IV Rebel base set. Later, we get an informative interview with Rogue One executive producer John Knoll, and Andi and Anthony pay their respects to Carrie Fisher with a special tribute to the late, great actress at the end of the episode. You can watch it all in full below:
