A new deleted scene from Star Wars: The Force Awakens has been released in advance of the 3D blu-ray of the film hitting shelves on November 15th. The scene, which was released by Entertainment Weekly, is one that was featured in the novelization and was a bit of surprise not to see it included on the original home media release of the film. It takes place in Maz's Castle after Finn has parted ways (for the time being) with Rey and Han, and sees the return of Unkar Plutt--who was last seen when Rey and Finn stole the Millennium Falcon on Jakku. Check out the scene below,
The Entertainment Weekly clip cuts off before the end of the actual scene, so if you want to see how the scene ends then you'll need to pick up the 3D blu-ray. For those wondering what happens next, let's just say it's something we've always known Chewbacca could do when upset but we've never actually seen him do.
