One of the characters who got the spotlight in the latest trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story was Mads Mikkelsen's Galen Erso. Mikkelsen sat down with IGN recently while promoting his role in Marvel's Doctor Strange, and the topic of Galen came up. IGN's Jim Vejvoda asked Mikkelsen about the guilt that Erso, who played a significant role in the construction of the Death Star, must feel. You can see Mikkelsen's response in the video below,
Mikkelsen said,
"He’s not in a super nice position. So, I mean, leaving is a big word. I mean he didn’t really have a choice. But, I think he’s the most guilty man in the world and I think that’s been very hard to cope with. But, if there was a way out of there, he would have taken it."
