While fans are anxiously awaiting the release of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story in theaters, the next big thing we have to look forward to is, of course, a new trailer. It appears we may now have an idea when to expect the next big teaser for the film
Star Wars News Net alerted us to the news that Elena Brodskaya, who is the marketing director for Disney in Russia, recently spoke at Kino Expo International and had some interesting things to say about several of Disney's properties, including Star Wars. According Kino Metro, she stated that a new trailer for Rogue One will be attached to Marvel's Doctor Strange, which is due for its theatrical release on November 4th.
Of course, we can expect that the trailer will be released online at some point between now and then. Our friend Jason at Making Star Wars is reporting that his sources are suggesting a release on television in the second half of October. That definitely would make a lot of sense, considering Disney and Lucasfilm used similar tactics last year for The Force Awakens, and even earlier this year for the most recent Rogue One trailer.
None of this is completely verifiable at this point, so take it as you will. But I would be willing to bet money that we'll be watching a new trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story this time next month.
