'Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga' Now Available on iOS

By: Dominic Jones

Lego has re-released the Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga video game for iOS devices!  The game, which was first released back in 2007, allows players to play through the events of all six Star Wars films with a hilarious Lego twist.  The game is available for free(!) on the iTunes store (though there is some in-game purchasing that can be done) for both iPhone and iPad.  This follows in a trend of releasing old Star Wars games for iOs devices, a few months back Knights of the Old Republic also got an iOS release.

Recall, a few months back our friends over at Jedi News picked up a Disney brochure from a marketing expo and it included a schedule for up coming Star Wars releases.  One of those releases was "Classic Lego Games Mobile Release" and this news certainly qualifies as a Classic Lego Games Mobile Release.  The interesting thing is, according to that brochure, this wasn't suppose to happen until Spring/Fall of 2014 (granted, it also said Episode VII would be coming in Summer 2015).  Does this mean the release schedule for other things have been changed? Or was this a one off to have the game available for all those getting iOS devices for Christmas?

Regardless, this is a great way to revisit a fun game and way to ensure that it lives on for future generations!
