Random house has released a new synopsis for Joe Shcreiber's upcoming follow up to last year's bestseller Star Wars: Darth Plagueis by: James Luceno, Star Wars: Maul Lockdown. The novel is slated for a January 21st, 2014 release. Check it out below:

This will be Schreiber's third novel in the Star Wars universe. His first two novels, Death Troopers and Red Harvest, were both horror novels and it's probably safe to say we can expect a similar genre for this novel. Darth Plagueis was a huge success last year and received wide acclaim from the fan community, so the expectations on it's follow up will be high. Though I think it's safe to say, Schreiber to be up to the challenge
