William Shatner Ticked Off Over JJ Abrams Directing Star Wars

Since the announcement that JJ Abrams will be directing Star Wars Episode VII, there has been a ton of reaction to the director of the two most recent Star Trek films directing the next Star Wars film.  But what does, Captain Kirk himself, William Shatner think about Abrams being at the helm of both franchises.  "He's being a pig," Shatner told Movie Fanatic.  Seems old Kirk is none too happy about the news!  Shatner went on to accuse Abrams of "collecting the two franchises and holding them close to his vest" and state that Abrams had "gone too far this time."

This is hardly the first time Shatner has had a run in with Star Wars or Abrams.  Shatner was left out of the JJ Abrams directed 2009 Star Trek film.  And who could forget his memorable social media argument with Carrie Fisher in 2011.

So what do you think of Shatner's comments?  Do you agree?  Disagree?  Or do you even really care what William Shatner has to say about Star Wars?  Let us know in the comments.
