The Plastic Strikes Back continues this week as Luke Skywalker prepares for the Battle of Hoth. If you missed last week's update explaining the project you can check it out here.
This image took a lot of planning and was one of the stumbling blocks when I first set out to do this project. In this scene we see Luke wearing just the jumpsuit which is not something Hasbro have ever released. They have however made this figure of Willrow Hood, only problem is that Willrow seems to have a much bigger appetite than our favourite farm boy. Thankfully with the power of photoshop I was able to airbrush the Willrow figure and reduce the gut dramatically.
For the next three images I had to cheat a little too, the Luke Skywalker in Snowspeeder gear I have is wearing the balaclava that the Rebel Pilots wore under their helmets in Empire, so the following is the body of Snowspeeder Luke but the head of the X-wing pilot Luke.
