With the recent acquisition of the Lucasfilm by Disney, there are many questions being asked, including what this means for the future the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars, currently in it's fifth season on Cartoon Network.  Now, sources are telling The Hollywood Reporter that the series is in it's final year of it's contract with Turner Entertainment and that their contract likely won't be renewed by Disney/Lucasfilm.  This, however, doesn't mean doom for the series.  It's likely that Disney/Lucasfilm will begin airing the series on one of Disney's many television networks (such as Disney XD) beginning with season 6 next fall.
