UPDATE: StarWars.com has confirmed that Michael Arndt will indeed be writing Star Wars: Episode VII.
ORIGINAL STORY: There are many rumors flying around right now about the upcoming Star Wars Episode VII, slated for release in 2015.  Who will write?  Who will direct?  Who will star?  Now, it seems, one is standing out above the others.  It started out as a simple rumor on the Vulture magazine blog, but now multiple media outlets, including The Hollywood Reporter, are claiming to have heard from inside sources that Michael Arndt, writer of films such as Toy Story 3, Little Miss Sunshine and the upcoming The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, has written a 40-50 page treatment and will work on the script for the new installment of the Star Wars saga.  Now remember this is still just a rumor and must be taken with a grain of salt, until it is confirmed (or denied) by Lucasfilm/Disney.
