It seems next to every director in Hollywood was on someone's wishlist for Episode VII. as the days go by, more and more fall of the list. Most recntly in was Collin Trevorrow, director of
Safety Not Guaranteed, who, when asked by
The Hollywood Reporter, said "
It’s not going to be me for Episode VII, and I can’t believe I’ve actually had to come out and say that,". Seems Trevorrow was as shocked as the rest of us when Episode VII was announced, but it seems he'll have to wait his turn to make a Star Wars film (if he even wants to).
