Watch Mark Hamill Get His Star On the Hollywood Walk of Fame

By: Dominic Jones

Today, Luke Skywalker actor Mark Hamill was honoured with a star on the famous "Hollywood Walk of Fame" in Los Angeles.  Hamill was on hand for the ceremony, alongside Star Wars creator George Lucas and Han Solo actor Harrison Ford, both of whom spoke in tribute to their friend and colleague.  Also in attendance at the event was The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson, Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy, Rose Tico actress Kelly Marie Tran, and Lt. Connix actoress Billie Lourd (who is also the daughter of the late Carrie Fisher), as well as members of Hamill's family.  You can watch the complete induction ceremony below,

Prior to the ceremony, Hamill made a surprise appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night where he got into a "Star War" with host Jimmy Kimmel.  You can see the video below,

SWU contributor Chris Seekell was in the crowd at today's event and shared some photos from it on our Instagram account.  You can see them below,
