New 'The Last Jedi' TV Spot Released

By: Dominic Jones

"Let's finish this."

Another new TV spot for Star Wars: The Last Jedi was released online today, featuring a surprising final set of shots.  The spot features several new shots of the action in space, as well as our first real look at the Execution Stormtroopers in the movie.  But what has everyone talking is the final two shots where Rey uses the Force to call Kylo Ren's lightsaber to her, catches it, and then strikes an action pose in Snoke's throne room while two Praetorian spring into action themselves.  The new spot was released on the official Star Wars Instagram account.  Check it out below,

If you're not a fan of square video, you can see a full widescreen version that our pal Johnny Grasso of Rogue Won: A Star Wars Podcast for Winners shot off his TV for below,

Rey with Kylo Ren's lightsaber, what does it mean?  Is Rey simply using it as tool because she doesn't have her lightsaber with her?  Or could she be embracing her dark side and taking Kylo's place at Snoke's side?  We'll find out in a week.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters on December 15th.  The film is written and directed by Rian Johnson and stars Daisy Ridley as Rey, Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, John Boyega as Finn, Adam Driver as Kylo Ren, Carrie Fisher as Leia Organa, Oscar Isaac as Poe Dameron, Kelly Marie Tran as Rose Tico, Laura Dern as Amilyn Holdo, Benicio Del Toro as DJ, and Lupita Nyong'o as Maz Kanata.
