Gwendoline Christie Talks 'The Last Jedi' on 'The Late Show'

Gwendoline Christie, who plays Captain Phasma in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, made an appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert last night to promote the upcoming film.  She spoke with host Stephen Colbert about why Phasma became such an icon prior to the release of The Force Awakens in 2015, her upbringing, and what it's like to wear the Phasma armor. Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters on December 15th.  The film is written and directed by Rian Johnson and stars Daisy Ridley as Rey, Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, John Boyega as Finn, Adam Driver as Kylo Ren, Carrie Fisher as Leia Organa, Oscar Isaac as Poe Dameron, Kelly Marie Tran as Rose Tico, Laura Dern as Amilyn Holdo, Benicio Del Toro as DJ, and Lupita Nyong'o as Maz Kanata.
