Rey's Speeder Getting Toy Treatment

With all the visual appeal The Force Awakens brought to both the screen and the Hasbro toy line, one element has lacked, until now.

io9 has reported that Hasbro's Black Series vehicle line is releasing a Rey Jakku speeder, along with a Rey Scavenger action figure to accompany it. Making it different from the Black Series figure previously released, Hasbro says this Rey figure will be "100% sculpted" with 28 points of articulation.

The speeder will feature nine points of articulation, with the stand designed to make it appear as if the speeder was displacing dust on the ground. A place for Rey's trusty staff will also be built into the design of the toy.

Those at Star Wars Celebration Orlando can get a first glimpse of it at Hasbro's booth. The official release is expected to occur in the fall along with the first wave of Hasbro's toys for The Last Jedi, and will sell for $60 USD.
