Emilia Clarke is set to appear in the new Han Solo stand-alone movie.
Lucasfilm have today announced that Clarke, who is best known for her iconic role as Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones, will be added to the dynamic cast of the upcoming untitled Han Solo A Star Wars Story film.
Clarke is the third star confirmed to appear in Lucasfilm's second stand alone film. She joins Alden Ehrenreich and Donald Glover - who have been cast as Han Solo and Lando Calrissian respectively.
Lucasfilm have yet to reveal the name of the character that Clarke will portray, which remains shrouded in secrecy. The only clue the company gave was this:

The untitled Han Solo movie, directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, is scheduled for release in 2018.
