Even though we can pretty much guess how Rogue One: A Star Wars Story ends, being that it's set immediately before Episode IV: A New Hope, that doesn't mean the film doesn't have a few surprises for us. Today, Anthony Breznican from Entertainment Weekly shared a new video that puts one of Rogue One's new elements under the microscope.
In the video, Breznican highlights the newly revealed TIE Striker using a Hasbro toy version of the fighter. He discusses the different wing positions for the Striker and explains why we never saw it in any of the battles of the Original Trilogy. Breznican confirms that we will see the TIE Strikers on Scarif in the film, and he mentions that they may be used to transport cargo for the Death Star's construction, just like the AT-ACTS.
