Star Wars Rebels returned with a bang on Saturday with the season three premiere episode "Steps Into Shadow". The episode saw the return of many of the previously established characters, and also featured the introduction of several new ones. Among them was Arihnda Pryce, Imperial Governor of the Lothal sector. Pryce, who is voiced by Mary Elizabeth McGlynn, has been mentioned a number of times going all the way back to season one, but this third season is the first time she's appeared in the flesh. If you were wondering why Governor Pryce has suddenly made her presence know in the series, allow me to point you toward a new video released by Lucasfilm.
Included with each episode of Star Wars Rebels is an installment of the web series "Rebels Recon" which goes behind the scenes of the series with the cast and creators. The most recent episode(which you should definitely watch here if you haven't already) covered a variety of topics, including other newly introduced characters, such as Thrawn and the Bendu. In a special bonus video that was released on Twitter, host Andi Gutierrez spoke with some of the creatives about Governor Pryce, her role in the Galaxy and her motivations. You can check it out below:
