This September, two official albums will be released for the first two seasons of the hit TV animated series; Star Wars Rebels.
The news was broadcast on the latest installment of the 'Star Wars Show', as Andi Gutierrez and Peter Townley informed fans about the album release. The two albums will be released on different dates and contain a different number of songs on each official album. The 'Season 1' album will feature 28 soundtracks, whilst there will be five more soundtracks on the 'Season 2' album (33 in total).
The 'Star Wars Show' presenters didn't reveal to audiences where these albums can be purchased or downloaded from, but they did disclose the release dates of the two albums. The 'Season 1' album will be available to download on September 16, whilst 'Season 2' can be downloaded from September 30.
I am very excited by this news because I think Kevin Kiner, the composer of Star Wars Rebels, deserves the credit he receives from fans, and, colleagues alike, for his musical talent. His soundtracks elicit a visceral reaction from audiences because of the way he is able to connect the music with the emotions and personalities of the on-screen characters.
