'Star Wars Rebels: Shroud of Darkness' Preview

By: Dominic Jones

Lucasfilm released a new preview clip today from next week's Star Wars Rebels episode "Shroud of Darkness".  The clip features Ezra and Ahsoka meditating and discussing Jedi Master Yoda.  Yoda, once again voiced by Star Wars legend Frank Oz, then makes an appearance to Ezra in a vision.  Check out the preview below,

Lucasfilm publicist Tracy Cannobbio also confirmed on Twitter that this episode would see the return of Matt Lanter as Anakin Skywalker (Lanter previously voiced Anakin on Star Wars: The Clone Wars).

Several images from the episode were also released, including one of Kanan fighting with a Jedi temple guard and an appearance by Darth Vader.  Check them out below,

It sounds like some of the big mysteries and themes of Star Wars Rebels will be addressed in this episode, not the least of which being whether or not Ahsoka knows about Anakin becoming Vader.  It will also be exciting to see what new lessons Yoda has for Ezra now that he has progressed in his Jedi training.  The episode will also see the return of the Inquisitors, the Fifth Brother and Seventh Sister, for their first appearance in 2016.

Star Wars Rebels airs Wednesday nights at 9pm on Disney XD.
