Hondo Ohnaka Confirmed to Appear in Future Episode of 'Star Wars Rebels'

By: Dominic Jones

A fan favorite character from Star Wars: The Clone Wars is confirmed to be returning to our screens at some point in the not too distant future.  Voice actor Jim Cummings confirmed this weekend during a live episode of the Full of Sith podcast at Salt Lake Comic FanX that Hondo Ohnaka would be making an appearance in a future episode of Star Wars Rebels.  Cummings said, "And I think I'm allowed to tell you I'm back."  As for when we'll see our favorite pirate again, Cummings isn't quite sure.  He said, "He'll be back, but we do them so far in advance I don't know when. So you'll just have to watch them all. I do anyway, so what the heck."

Hondo first appeared in the Season One episodes "Dooku Captured" and "The Gungan General" and went on to appear in several other arcs, including "The Boba Fett Arc" from season 2 and "The Young Jedi Arc" from season 5.  He quickly became a fan favorite and a favorite of George Lucas.  I for one can't wait to see more of Hondo on Star Wars Rebels.
