SWU reader Erik pointed us in the direction of the ImageShack account Darth Simi (UPDATE: The account has since been deleted but we saved the picture, so if you want to see it just scroll down), where allegedly a picture of the villain for Star Wars Episode VII was posted. Wow! This guy looks great! I love the way his saber looks almost like a sword. I can definitely see the two mini sabers being used to stab someone at close range (kind of like a shank). His mask looks like a combination of Vader and Revan, and you could definitely see the guy underneath the mask being some kind of Sith historian. While this doesn't completely line up with prior villain concept art, you could see how this is a creative evolution from that. Plus we know that not all concept art makes it into the final film.
We look forward to seeing this guy in action on December 18th, 2015!
UPDATE: Jay Carlson from Indie Revolver has confirmed via his sources that this picture is legitimate and that the character pictured filmed scenes in London!
