Lucasfilm: Episode VII release will NOT be delayed by Ford injury

By Chris Seekell

Following a rumor picked up on earlier today by Jedi News stating that a meeting to discuss delaying the production of Star Wars Episode VII has taken place at Pinewood, has reached out to a spokesperson from Lucasfilm to comment on a possible delay. They were told the following information.

Lucasfilm would not comment on the extent of the production delays, but a company spokesperson told TFN, "There is no change in the release date."

So it looks like while the film production may or may not be delayed by Harrison Ford's injury on the set of the film, Lucasfilm is still expecting Episode VII to be released December 18th, 2015 as scheduled.
