Perhaps the Expanded Universe will have some weight in the Star Wars movieverse after all.
According to Yahoo Movies, Jeremy Bulloch, the 69 year old actor who portrayed Boba Fett in the Original Trilogy, hinted at his involvement in Star Wars during an interview at Salt Lake Comic Con.
When he was asked if he was contacted to be in Episode VII, Bulloch replied "Not yet," followed by "But I...oops." Then, the Boba Fett actor slapped his hand to his mouth, stopping himself from saying anything else.
Could this mean we'll see the ruthless bounty hunter return in the next Star Wars installment? Although Fett seemingly perished in the bowels of the Sarlacc, Expanded Universe fans know that the Mandalorian escaped and. With that being said, Fett could return in Episode VII. Even if Boba Fett doesn't have a role in Episode VII, the bounty hunter could appear in his own spin-off film, portrayed once again by Jeremy Bulloch.
