After weeks of speculation, LucasArts finally revealed what Star Wars 1313 is: it's a video game! Geoff Keighley of Spike's Game Trailer's TV broke the news and made a trip out to LucasArts where he revealed some features of the game. The game centers around a Bounty Hunter in the most dangerous place in the galaxy, known as level 1313. Very little more about the story was revealed other than the game would take place on Coruscant and deals with treachery, crime and gangs. Keighley also looked at the facial capture technology used in the game, explaining to the world that this is the same technology used on Mark Ruffalo in order to create the Hulk in the blockbuster film The Avengers. In addition we also learned that the game will be third person. More details about the game including a first look at the gameplay will be shown during Spike's E3 coverage on Monday June 4, 2012 at 12pm EST/9 am PST.
Update: StarWars.com has since been updated with more info about the game including this interesting tidbit about the game's plot and content:
"Using an arsenal of exotic weaponry to hunt down marks, the player must also uncover the truth surrounding a criminal conspiracy in this third-person cinematic action adventure game. It's a bold new take on the Star Wars galaxy, intended for mature audiences"
